I later learned these are mass manufactured in China and if you pay more than $200 for any model, you were ripped off. Fortunately, I got it pretty cheap and figured I would give it a shot rather than cancel my order. When it arrived, I was somewhat impressed by the packaging and overall initial appearance of the watch. However, upon further inspection, it became clear that there were artifacts inside the casing (tiny particles on the components) and that the rotor was not truly free motion. You could hear and feel that the rotor was grinding against something. I returned it and got a Swatch "Body and Soul" as a cheaper alternative for my casual mechanical watch and I am very pleased with it.Essentially, I learned that these watches are acceptable at the price they are on Amazon, but the company hypes their quality a lot more than it should. I did not wear it for several months because I was afraid it would get damaged where I work and live. I started wearing it about a month ago when I went home on R&R and noticed that I can just barely see the hands on the watch because of the design. I also noticed that it does not keep accurate time. I wore it for approximately 20 days and had to reset the time almost every day. The watch runs fast and picks up several minutes of time each day.
